Windscreen Repairs
It's easy to pick up a chip in your windscreen, motorway driving is most often the culprit when you pick up a stone chip whilst driving at high speed.
Although it is legal to drive your car so long as the chip in your windscreen is not directly in your line of vision and under a certain size, once your windscreen has been chipped it needs repairing as soon as possible.
A stone chip in your screen will only get worse the longer you leave it.
Most cracked windscreens just start as a small chip but often the chip becomes a crack when the windscreen expands and contracts due to changes in temperature throughout the day.
Once this happens the crack will spread due to those same temperature changes and your windscreen has become unsafe making your car a danger to drive (many people do not know that the windscreen accounts for approximately 30% of the car's structural strength and protects the car and passengers massively in the event of an accident).
If you have fully comprehensive insurance there is a good chance that you repair could be free (this is of course subject to your policy).
Repairs can be undertaken at your home or at your place of work, quickly and conveniently and most importantly ensuring your safety.
